Platforms vary in sizes to accommodate different numbers of riders and operators.
The floor features built-in units to provide storage for emergency equipment and spares; these can be retracted when not in use, leaving the platform uncluttered. The drum used to wind the load-bearing cable is located at the centre of the platform.
